I'm not sure what you mean but I use class lists with a grid (like a gradebook) I write across the top of the boxes the assignment and check off the kid that did it. I can then see who did what. I also laminate one of these and use wipe off pens for different reasons of keeping track of kids and the stuff I need to keep track of.

I also keep lists of things and add names to the list of the kids that accomplished it.
