Wow--Camp memories

Gee whiz! I went to 6th grade camp with my class too! And that was in 1970!! It was in the mountains about 3 hours from our homes. (I lived in San Diego at the time). And some of us had never seen snow before then. We whittled wood and took nature hikes and slept in a cabin...all totally new experiences for me!!Tell your students that some people still have fond memories of 6th grade camp...30 years later. And, like the other poster, I wonder about today's cultural and legal issues. I'm kind of surprised that you can do this in this day and age as well. Have fun at camp!!
