Quick Suggestions
By Laura

Clip to ScrapBook
Hang in there :-) A couple of quick thing that you may try (they worked for me, but every group of kids is different). During carpet time I have them bring their chairs over so they can't kick and move around so much on the
floor. I feel they can concentrate better and they don't squish each other so much. Also we have a school policy that all children must walk with their hands behind their back when walking in the halls. This way they can't shove and push and touch the walls. It was hard to get them to do this at first. We had to go back to the room and miss a some things we were trying to walk to because
we had to keep going back to try again, but it is working better now.
You are a great teacher because if you weren't and you didn't care about the children, you wouldn't bother getting on here and asking for advice. I look up to people like you who stick through things like this!
