Teacher's behavior

I really think you should explain to this teacher just how your child feels. I know especially shy children can be scared by such behavior. I had a horrible teacher in 1st grade and went from loving school to crying every day. She would scream, throw things, humiliate, etc. My parents went to the principal numerous times but so did everyone else's parents so he wouldn't move anyone. She was not there the next year, but the damage was done. I try to remember the feelings I felt and think about my actions as a teacher and if they might upset a child. Good luck and stick to your guns!
