plans for subs
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
I know this is getting a little off the topic, but I couldn't help myself. I made some generic (ie review type) lesson plans for 1 week. I keep them in envelopes - one for each day so I can include a sticky note with library
time, etc. I keep them in an obvious place. That way, if I'm on my "death bed" some morning I don't have to worry about dragging myself in to throw together some plan for a sub, I can just call one of my fellow teachers and ask her to put them out for the sub. If I know I'm going to be out, I write plans specifically for that day. My emergency sub plans have come in handy more
than once! (And, for the record, I write out my plans every week, but not to the detail I would for a sub. Just enough for me to know what I wanted to do. Too much detail in my plans makes them harder for me to read.)
