I have several stations I use in my room. I have a marker packaging job - I saved up those Mr. Sketch markers boxes and put a flyer out to other teachers to send me their old ones that have ran out and the students package| markers using the colors on the box. I also use the skinny ones and take the tops off them and have students match the tops to the bottoms matching colors. Fork, knife, spoon and napkin placing it into a ziplock bag. Nuts, bolts, and washers put them together. Sorting T-shirts, socks, and washcloths and pairing the socks and folding. Collating our weekly journals we do in class and | | stapling them together. Glue 1 button to the bottom of each compartment in an egg carton and have them sort buttons. Put together craft packets - 1 pom pom, 2 popscicle sticks, 2 eyes ( what ever you want to include in there) - place the numbers in front of the items and they can practice collating and counting. Put together pencil boxes - so many crayons, so many pencils and eraser and ruler into a pencil type box. You can also have an assembly line giving each person 1 item to put into the kit and teach cooperation/team work (depending on their levels). Put batteries into a flashlight and have them test it before they put it into the finished pile (picture cues help) also help with counting. Putting paintbrush tops on certain ones come apart fairly easily and the tops go on pretty good. Hope these ideas help.
