Good advice!
By Laura

Clip to ScrapBook
I am also a student teacher that is having trouble with my students listening to their own teacher and myself. I have always felt like children should behave and respect the teachers and adults without having rewards also. Our whole school is based on a rewards system though, and it is encouraged. I am just wondering how I can take over for the few weeks I am there and try and get them to behave and listen to me and respect me without rewarding them all of the time. I can see how I will be able to do it in my own classroom if I start of the first day with it, but what should I do now? Jennifer, let me know how your teaching is goin now with the great advice Sue gave you.
