What age are your kids? Linoprints are very reliable - but the cutting process can be dangerous for younger students. What about building up a design using string on a cardboard block? Or cutting styro foam to make a stamp? As far as the final product goes - relate it to other work you may be doing in class - or perhaps a community happening that requires a poster? Use fabric paints and make up a simple library bag? Have fun.
