Maybe I'm making way too much work for myself, but I can have as many as 20 grades for the 'high maintenance' classes (reading, math, spelling). For Social studies, health, science etc. I usually have just a few. The way I look at it is if I expect my students to spend time working on an assignment, I should give them the time to correct it.Michele
