I agree that this is wrong. Sometimes people forget what it feels like to be a kid! Remind this teacher. Meet with her first BEFORE going to the principal. Don't go into the mtg negatively. Ask for some info about how she handles the multiplication drills and discipline. Then let her know how your child is feeling.

Sometimes there is a miscommunication between the teacher and child, and the teacher hopefully will rectify the situation!
