This is my first year back full-time teaching after 18 years. I stayed home for 10 years and have been doing 1/2 time for the past 8 years. Loved it, miss it. All my administrators have been very supportive and understanding that 1/2 time was all that I wanted. I worked hard to be part of the staff and a team player. Most teachers respected my working hours and were flexible with meetings etc. The moment I said that I was interested in going full time I was offered 3 jobs so take your time and enjoy--anyone can do your teaching job-- only you can enjoy those babies!!!
