Moving down and up

I moved from fifth to thrid grade and loved it, (now I'm back to fifth and despise it!) and it was fairly easy to keep my expectations in check. Just looking at them helps you to keep it in mind because of the size difference. Also, all of the habits that older kids have that drive you crazy, the younger ones have yet to develop.I also made sure to really work with my grade level peers so I knew what was going on in their classrooms. I found it a refreshing change and wouldn't have gone back if I didn't have to. Good luck!
