I have a homemade bulletin board area where my students record titles of books they love and want to recommend to others. We call it "Blockbuster Books" I made my own border to fit it. I just used one of those solid color borders then I went online to book store sites and found the pictures that went with a lot of classic books we use and perrennial favorites. I copied and printed them and glued them onto the border. I just laminated it to make it more durable. We don't currently rate the titles the students write up, but this would be pretty easy to do. Maybe it could be along the lines of Blockbuster Video and the students could use a star-rating system like reviewers use for the movies.
