Adopted materials By Debbie

Hi Theresa,
I can understand your concerns...do you have to use the adopted materials as given or are you free to do what you feel is best for your students? My belief is that what goes on in the classroom should be research based & best practice-that children's needs (assessment / evaluation on a continual basis) should drive instruction. Best of luck. Maybe a change of districts??? ;-D
