phonics
By Laura

Clip to ScrapBook
When I started teaching, I thought 3rd was too old for phonics. But I have found out that is not the case in many instances. This year, we are using the phonics that came with our Scott Foresman curriculum. Phonics questions are not a part of our state tests, but low readers need it in order to read the test! I'd be interested in hearing how much time a day other teachers use. We spend just a few minutes a day and then in guided reading groups for struggling readers.
