aides
By Sarah

Clip to ScrapBook
i'm glad i'm not the only one... let me start by saying that in my learning support room, there are two separate classes. one of my students was working with the other teacher (a sub that day) and the aide. he started to cry and they completely ignored him. he has emotional issues, and i was not going to let him sob. i went back to the table and talked to him quietly. all he wanted was to work by himself, not the large group. well, i guess the aide didn't like this. she told the sub and other aide in the room that i should have let him be and never went over to him. i talked to my mentor/special ed supervisor and she said i did the right thing. i still doubt myself, though. i CANNOT let this woman, who has never taught, break my confidence.
