my classroom, too

Hi,

I was just passing through and saw this post and replies. Unfortunately for you but a relief for me : this is my class!!! My students are primary but WOW are they difficult this year!!! I have begun to question my
teaching abilities! ...and my sanity!!! I have tried everything, even begged help from counselor, ADANTA the internet, old texts...you name it, I've tried it. Now, I'll try that website just mentioned. I love my job, teaching kids. I don't like what I'm doing this year: re-training kids to act modestly behaved. I always expect a few students who will need coaxing into good behavior

but WHEW half my class is in the "odd behavior" range this year. I love 'em but it hurts me that they can't seem to get along with me or each other. At the risk of being so negative...I hate that... the students, most of them, have improved somewhat. Of course, anyone that didn't know my class would still see little demons. But, there is hope. Right? Just tell me, it will all pass and I will be effective again.
