Classroom management issues

This may be a little late to offer advice but I think the other posters are right to tell you to jump in and take care of the name calling....quickly! I just wanted to add that it is so important that YOU do it...my friend had an experience student teaching, in which her co-op teacher "took care" of all the classroom management issues and while at the time, my friend appreciated the help, it did leave her with less confidence in this very important area when the time came to do it by herself.Your practicum is the time to learn...what you choose to do may not work, just try something else...searching for advice from your co-op teacher, other teachers and this board are excellent ideas...I am sure everything will work out for you!
