Gender Bias

First, I'm a male teacher, so of course my opinions may be different. I wouldn't really worry too much about one class having that opinion of you. If you do have classes saying that every year, you do have a problem. I've had classes which were mostly boys that were great and ones that were awful and the same is true with girls. I teach 7th grade and this year I deal with 5 classes. The worst class in the 7th grade is mostly girls. They're catty, have major attitude, and tear down other students emotionally. Boys do tend to be louder and they do get in more trouble, but not all boys are devils and not all girls are angels. It sounds like you just have a bad group of boys or a good group of girls.
