F is an F
By teach2all

Clip to ScrapBook
I don't think it is necessary to give a grade lower than a 50. An F is an F. Someone said that a student might come back a sue a teacher because they were passed on. If the student receives a 15 or a 50 it is still an F and would be failed either way. A student might be having difficulty and if they did start to improve, then they wouldn't have a chance to recover from that devastating grade. If you are giving such low grades, then I think you need to assess the situation and find out what is going on and do all you can to change it!
