The teacher that adjoined my room last year was great. We cotaught and did lots of things together. I had the kids write a sentence, Thank you, Mrs. Smith, for teaching me about ... and the students illustrated it. I laminated and bound it and had the kids give it to her on her birthday. She loved it and even cried. Not sure if you can get this done under her nose but an idea.
