When I was a student teacher, my supervising teacher gave me this idea for the kids:
1. Have them fold a piece of paper into sections, depending on how many vocabulary words you are teaching at one time.
2. In each section, the students are to print the word and underline it;write it in cursive; use it in a super sentence (at least 7 or 8 words); and illustrate what comes to mind when they read the word aloud.
