Clip to ScrapBook
Stone Soup is a folk tale and there are several book versions of the story. If you can lay your hands on more than one version it is fun to contrast and compare them.

I've also made flannel board pieces - the pot, the potatoes, carrots, etc. for the kids to retell the story during centers time. It includes cards with the words for these items so the kids can match them up.
