flag idea

if you are going to make a giant flag, like mentioned above, do it with their hands! it is a lot of red, white and blue construction paper, but you cut out their hands and then use them all to create a flag. we did this after 9/11 at our school. and i also do it with green paper to make a giant xmas tree at christmas. it just makes things a little more interesting to look at....
