I just wanted you to know that it's not unique to just Texas. I'd be willing to bet that almost every state is putting the pressure on their teachers to make sure that students perform well on the "TEST."

Hang in there! Just concentrate on teaching the kids what they need to know. I believe that if we do that, it will show on the "TEST."

Resist the pressure to teach to the test. Remember that your students are just kids, and yes they need to learn, but they can learn in very creative ways. I think that my state has forgotten that, and really wants drones to teach the kids!
