I feel for you
By Seal

Clip to ScrapBook
I was in a position for several years and put up with someone who just plain felt they could do things better - I liked her as a person but not as a coworker it was a tough hall - unfortunately she is still there and 2 other
teachers have also fell to her authority. Talk to others if you can and do find support. Be upfront with this person and stand your ground, try to get her to understand your position too and yes do get support and talk to your principal before things get out of hand. Unfortunately the one girl who took the position after me fell apart one day and it was too late to get help. Hang
in there and know that you are not alone, and it isn't you. Hold your head up high and do what is right for yourself and your students. It is hard when you are first starting out. Keep us posted on how you are doing. Take care.
