How about...

Maybe you can use your teaching experience in a different venue. I live near the San Diego Zoo, and they have a wonderful education department. So does Sea World. You don't have daily contact with kids (PARENTS), but you
still have some, and you get to develop curriculum for teachers to use during and after field trips!

Also, perhaps you'd like to do adult ed. Maybe your county has adult ed or occupational training programs and you could be an administrator. Just be cautious about leaving your job right now. As I've posted on many different pages today, the economy isn't great. People from every profession

are getting laid off or cuts in pay.

If you are serious about finding something that's tailor made for you, maybe you could take an interest inventory test. I took those at a community college. It was free for students, and non-students just paid a small fee. It suggested jobs that I'd never heard of before, and got me thinking!

You could always go into business for yourself. I sell jewelry on the side and make really good money. If you want more info about that, email me.

Good luck, and look before you leap!
