Mulit-Age
By SC

Clip to ScrapBook
I teach multi-age, and the kids are in the program for two years. Are your kids in the program for all three grades? If so, you could rotate science and social studies curriculums each year. So one year you do the fourth grade curriculum, one year the fifth, and one year the sixth. Not sure how well this works for social studies for these grades (my kids are younger), because social studies tends to get broader each year, but you could definitely do it for science. Who cares if the fourth graders learn fifth grade science? By the end of the three years they'll have learned the same three curriculums as kids in other classes.
