Clip to ScrapBook
You could ask each student to write a short message (or draw a picture-for the younger students) of what they will miss most about the principal or why the principal was special to them. If your principal is a good sport
you could have a modified "roast" where faculty members tell funny stories or situations that have happened at school involving the principal. I think asking former colleagues or even former students to share memories during the event would be most appropriate. As for a gift, find out what her interests are. Stay away from school-themed gifts! What is she going to do when she retires? Find
out and go with that idea. Gardening, travel, whatever, you can come up with some gift that will complement what her future interests are.

Good luck!
Jennie
