I have built in closets that are as tall as the children. One is for girls and one is for boys. There are hooks inside the closets. Each child gets a white garbage bag with their name on it. Each morning, they put their coat and backpack in their bag and hang it in their closet. This helps control the wonderful lice problem! I replace torn bags maybe once or twice and when someone has lice. Since the closets are the height of the children, they store their lunch box on top if they bring one. This is how our whole school does it and it works!
