Alphabet
By Ree'

Clip to ScrapBook
One of the things I use in my class is an environmental print alphabet chart. I make it by placing each upper-case & lower-case on a seperate piece of construction paper (Aa), (Bb), ... I then have them laminated. As we work with each letter students are encouraged to bring in wrappers, bags, labels that they "can read" because they use these items on a regular basis, for example Snickers for "S" or something from McDonald's. Of course they can bring items in at anytime and we'll discuss it and place it on our board. The students really get into it.
