Clip to ScrapBook
Hi, You can begin by getting them involved in your preganancy. You can have them do graphing where they would all guest what sex, hair color, body weight, and expected date. You can then use this info to give a gift to those
who came the closest in the various areas. You can also bring in writing by having them write letters to the baby. Then when the time is right you can bring this baby in to show them. ( children in this time know what having a baby means so just tell them and make it a fun activity)
In terms of work to leave for them to do, I think you should get with the person who will be taking
over your class and give her/him an idea of what you would like to have te cover for the time you are out. Or if you are able to plan in advance go right ahead and do so.
