What plan book?
By Chantal

Clip to ScrapBook
I understand completely what you are saying. I love teaching but hate the plan book! Each year I start out saying I will keep better plans but each week slips away and soon there are barely written pages. At times, I just write the plan after it has been taught. Some of my coworkers keep detailed ones, some just notes, it all depends on their style. (My principal asks for plans when we are observed) I used to beat myself up about this "shortcoming" but now realize that is a waste.
I work hard with my students and each day is a learning experience. Yes, sometimes I am scrambling but this is what works for me. Don't make your self crazy! If you are doing your job, that is what's important!
