Touch Points
By Brenda

Clip to ScrapBook
Touch points are a wonderful way to make math sense to children who are struggling! I've worked with SPED kids and this procedure has made them successful. I am currently doing ABA with an PDD (autistic) 1st grader using this system and he is right on target in addition and subtraction. The number of problems are modified but his grade is a true B or better. This is a stepping stone for anyone until the facts are memorized and looks better than counting on fingers or making tallies!
