Lesson Plans
By SC

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with the original poster. I, too, have a grid I made on the computer with basic information ... then I just write in little one-word reminders of exactly what I'll be doing. Sometimes I have to refer back to it,
and sometimes I don't. Mostly I just do it in case the principal walks in to look at it. Some teachers write their planbooks so that a sub could come in and follow them, in case of an emergency, but no sub would ever be able to follow mine!

I think it all depends on your personality. I mean, there are people who keep very detailed planners and calendars to keep track of their personal

lives, and these are probably the same kinds of people keeping detailed lesson plan books. Personally, I have never had any success with planners ... I just have to write myself little post-it notes to remind myself of appointments. So I think it all depends on what works for you.
