lesson plans
By Colleen

Clip to ScrapBook
I do lesson plans each week but mine are not very detailed. I may never look at them again after I write them. I may not even do what I planned because of those "teachable moments". Wehave to turn in plans to the principal who I doubt reads them. (I make a Xerox of mine.) One time a principal asked me if I covered such and such in class and I replied, "Of course, Don't you read my lesson plans?"

I have had some weeks where I did not write any plans and I felt lost all week. Lesson plans kind of get me going in the right direction.

I keep my old plan book from the previous year to help when I do plans this is a real helper. I am often tempted to Xerox a page from last year's book to turn in.
