lesson plans
By Jan

Clip to ScrapBook
Yes I do lesson plans for every day and every week. I teach special ed. so mine are terribly hard to write down what each group or goal on the IEP is to be worked on but I have created a template that I copy each week. It
has the things already filled in for the every day things that you had to write. It has the time and subject filled in etc. We don't have to turn them in although I have worked for principals that require it or require them open and on your desk for Friday checks. But when a sub comes into a room and finds no plans they are required to report to the administration if there weren't any.
Our district trusts us as professionals and empoweres us to do the right thing. I know some people when they are sick run in a do plans and then leave -well that is the last thing I want to do. If I am sick, I want to stay in bed and not drive in and deliver plans. I am not being negative, so please don't take it that way. I am just explaining how I am and how it is in our district. I agree with the poster-THEY are NOT fun.
