worksheets

Clip to ScrapBook
I have a love/hate response to worksheets. Your problem though, seems to be a lack of time. You feel responsible to complete the worksheets, but know that "hands on" is often the best way of teaching. If you have access
to an overhead projector, I may have an answer. Use it to do some, most or all the worksheets together as a group. From your post, there seems to be enough sheets in a day to give each child one or more chances to "fill in" their answers. The benefits are enormous--They get the valuable lesson of working as a group, learn to be patient while it is another child's turn and your slower
writers don't get frustrated. At the same time, you get to assess who "gets it" and who doesn't. Should give you more time to work with those kids and do the hands on stuff you do best. Good luck.
