getting started

I like the idea of remembering 2002 and predicting 2003. I think this will go along nicely with a new year's resolution, which I had also thought about having them do. I am introducing our new unit on fractions, and I am reading the Hershey's Fraction Book and using real Hershey bars. I think that anytime you use candy you have their full attention! LOL
