THere are several good ones out there, each with its own gimmick. I am familiar with the Four Square Method, Rainbow Writing, and Power writing. We use a variety of different ones in our district. In my school most of us use a form of power writing--just not the exact thing. We have all adapted different things to fit our styles. My personal favorite is the Four Square Method. I have used it fairly successfully with my special needs class.
