TAKS Test By JRuff

I have taught 3rd grade for about 8 years and I'm not real concerned about the test. We use the reading process to have the children find all the answers to the questions before filling in an answer. It takes them a long time but we have had great success. When we get back after Christmas I'm going to work on graphic organizers. I have 2 weak readers but I will intensify their reading after the break.
We are having a big assessment of made up stories with everyting we think could be on the test and we will give that to them when we come back and see how they score on that.
