Clip to ScrapBook
How about a whip and a chair????? Just kidding...
One thing that I like to do is to bring Christmas pictures of what I have done over break and share. Then I have the students write/draw about their break. I try to add
this page to a Me Book that I start on Day 1 of the school year and periodically add to throughout the year....usually planned but sometimes when I need a quick filler. Another day shortly after break I will do a 'remembering 2002...predicting 2003' and add this one too. If not making a book, these make nice display items. For other subjects, I try to create some sort of fun review...bingo,
jeopardy, etc. ...just to make coming back as much fun as those last few days before Christmas break. I usually only spend part of a day with this type of thing.
Hope this helps...
