Clip to ScrapBook
That seems young to be taught Egypt...but that's great ...early start. I teach fifth. what my colleagues and I are doing is we are each ( along with the help of the media specialist and a parent) teaching the cultural universals of Ancient Egypt (communication, government, education, arts and leisure, economics, food, clothing, shelter, belief systems, geography and family life) We are teaching our "special area" to all classes. THen for a culminating project, the kids will be making a historical fiction picture book based on the real life facts they learn. We will also encorporate technology into the book as well..for the insertion of pictures, graphics etc...hope I helped you. Yes, there is a lot to teach...chris
