storyboarding
By Amy J

Clip to ScrapBook
I have a similar idea to yours that I am going to do with my fifth graders. Its kind of funny, but I got the idea from my Weight Watcher's meeting! We were given a worksheet with boxes to fill in. One large star shaped box is the goal and then there are about 6 linked boxes where you write the steps that you are going to take to reach the goal. I thought this would be valuable to my students because they get frustrated easily when what they want does not come to them right away. This will help them to plan and see that there are certain steps in reaching a goal.

I am also presenting a quote that goes along with the storyboarding. "If you want to have what you have not, you must do what you have not done." Evan Esar
