JC & Rome Ideas
By Renee

Clip to ScrapBook
Although we did the following for Greece, you can also apply it to Rome. We studied the Greek Gods, the foods, activities (which also included the Olympic games, etc.) and at the end of the lesson (took about two weeks since we are on block schedule) we held a Greek festival. Students wore sheets like Toga's with green leafy wreaths around their heads. We had parents bring in covered dishes and all had lunch together. We took pictures and following lunch had mock Greek games outside. It was fun and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
