A Going Away Gift

If you have access to a digital camera, you can take a nice class picture and print it on the computer. The picture can be placed in a special frame that the child can keep in his/her bedroom. In addition to the picture, each classmate can write a special note to this student and a small scrapbook of memories can be made easily. I also like to give the student a copy of a special book that we have either read in class or that we will soon be reading. If you decide to give the child a book, don't forget to write a special message inside the front cover. Good Luck gathering ideas. It's always hard to say goodbye. Doesn't it always seem like the best kids move away?
