private school
By liz

Clip to ScrapBook
I have taught in a private school for 4 years.
In our city, working in a pivate school is more secure than in the public. The public schools are
laying off so many people. If you are lucky to get hired in public( since everything is so political here, it is who you know...not what you know to get a public school teaching job)
you are not guarenteed a classroom and until you get appointed, you get subs pay/ $70.00 a day, no paid holidays, sick time or vacation. I"d rather take the $90 a day, benifits and my own classroom in a private school.
Liz
