MLK Jr. Kindness and Justice Challenge

There is actually an organization called Do Something where you can download free curriculum. I believe it was started by one of MLK Jr.'s children. I saw it on this website last year and just got a newsletter.
Here
is info directly from the newsletter:
"Do Something invites you and your students to honor the dream of Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in the Do Something Kindness & Justice Challenge and performing acts of kindness (helping others) & justice (standing up for what is right) for two weeks following the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday (January 20 through January 31,

2003).

Preparation materials for the 2003 Kindness & Justice Challenge are now available online.

Each day of the program helps teach young people the values Dr. King lived for and inspires students to put these values into practice by taking positive action in their schools, homes, and communities.

Each part of the curriculum is tied to NAEP core content curriculum standards.

You can access the FREE curricula and other Kindness & Justice Challenge resources online at http://coach.dosomething.org. To access the 2003 materials, please use the username and password you selected when you registered at http://coach.dosomething.org. If you have forgotten your username and password, you will need to register on the website to access the 2003 Kindness & Justice Challenge curricula and other resources.
