Oh, man...do I feel for you!
By Jessie

Clip to ScrapBook
This same thing happened to me last year (I teach 5th grade) and I had a mother that was just as bad. She'd walk her son (in my class) and her sophomore aged daughter to school every day (they lived a block from the school)
and pick them up everyday, too! She would call the school and leave SEVERAL messages a day, (thank goodness the principle made sure I rarely had to talk to her over the phone), would hang outside my room for the last half hour of the day and basically talk to her kid through the door (she even would open it if it was shut...no matter what was going on in the room!) until we had her basically
kicked out. It was just nuts!

The only advice I have is making sure to keep administrative reports and document the items you have tried. I will he hoping things get better for you. (It did on my end...the kid moved, although he was a basically nice kid and I enjoyed teaching him, but his mother! What a flake!)
