Compare/Contrast

Betsy,
I just read 2 books and am impatiently waiting to get the 3rd in a series of books called EVEREST by Gordon Korman. These 3 novels (not nonfiction) are supposed to be written on a 4th grade level, very exciting,| very high interest. The reason I mention them is that I think it would be fairly easy (do a search on Amazon.com) to find some nonfiction titles about Mt. Everst expeditions and climbers to read along with these 3 very, very, very, very (get my point?) exciting books. They are cliffhangers both figuratively and literally!!! Here's the catch, though. They are not written to be read |

independently of one another. Once you finish the first, THE CONTEST, then you have to read the second, THE CLIMB, and then you don't know the whole story until you read the third, THE SUMMIT.
